Light, unplugged.

We kept coming back to the same number: the energy wasted by things left plugged in, humming away, doing nothing. A lamp that's always drawing power just to sit there in standby felt like exactly the kind of small, everyday waste we wanted to design out. So we're building a touch lamp with no cord at all: charge it, place it anywhere, tap it on. No outlet tying it to one spot in the room, no phantom draw when it's off, no cable to work around. Less to waste. More places for light to go.
