The Erno is a compact, angular table lamp with a tapered geometric form built from flat, faceted panels that angle inward from a wider top to a narrower base. The silhouette reads like a squared-off lantern or a gemstone carved from a single block — clean edges, sharp planes, and a sense of weight and precision that most organic, curved lamps never have. Each face is a flat trapezoid, and the four panels meet at crisp ridges that give the Erno a quiet architectural confidence. It's minimal without being cold, geometric without being clinical.

The honeycomb mesh covers every panel, and when lit, the Erno transforms. Light fills the entire body from the inside and pushes outward through the lattice, turning each flat face into a glowing plane of warm amber. The faceted shape means each panel catches the light at a slightly different angle — so one face might glow bright and golden while the adjacent one reads softer and deeper, giving the lamp a sense of dimension that a cylinder or a sphere can't match. The crisp edges become glowing seams. The tabletop beneath picks up a soft rectangular pool of light. The effect is less lamp, more lit object.
