The MALLA is a circular wall lamp with a disc-shaped body made from multiple concentric rings that step outward from the wall, each one slightly wider than the one behind it. The result is a layered, tiered form that adds real physical depth to a flat surface — like a target made of light, or a cross-section of a tree trunk that someone decided to illuminate. The outermost ring is the widest, creating the lamp's full circular silhouette, while the inner rings recede toward the centre where the bulb sits. The whole structure mounts flush to the wall, projecting outward just enough to catch light across every tier.

The honeycomb mesh covers every ring, and when lit, the layered construction is what makes the MALLA come alive. The innermost ring — closest to the bulb — glows brightest, radiating warm, direct light through the lattice. Each successive ring catches less direct light and more ambient spill, so the glow falls off gradually from centre to edge, creating a natural halo effect that feels like a sunrise trapped in a disc. The stepped edges between rings cast thin, concentric shadow lines on the wall behind, adding another layer of texture that you only notice up close. From across the room, it reads as a single, softly glowing circle. Walk closer and the layers reveal themselves.

The MALLA works in any orientation — the circular shape has no top or bottom, so it reads the same however you mount it. Place it centred above a headboard for a warm, even wash. Flank a hallway mirror with two for symmetrical sconce lighting. Mount one in a stairwell and the rings catch the eye as you pass. The circular form is neutral enough to suit any wall but distinctive enough to anchor whatever surface it's on.

Available in a muted sage green that reads earthy and calm — warm enough for bedrooms, refined enough for restaurants and hotel lobbies. The colour shifts subtly depending on the light: cooler and greener when off, warmer and more golden when lit.
