The Ara is a compact, globe-shaped pendant with deep vertical ribs that curve inward and outward like the segments of a pumpkin or the folds of a paper lantern pulled into shape by hand. The form is tight and symmetrical, each rib flowing from a gathered top down to a scalloped opening at the base. It's organic without being chaotic — every fold lands exactly where it should, giving the Ara a quiet, grounded presence that feels almost meditative.

The honeycomb mesh wraps every surface, and when lit, the entire shade comes alive. Light pushes through the lattice and spills out between the ribs, casting soft, rhythmic shadow lines across walls and ceilings. The rounded shape diffuses the glow evenly, so there's no harsh spotlight — just warm, ambient light that fills a space without overwhelming it. From below, the scalloped opening frames the bulb like a flower seen from the inside.
